Vinmar acquired the sole control of Alfa Kimya (www.alfakimya.com), a leading specialty chemicals distributor in Turkey focused primarily to the textile industry. Alfa Kimya has an experienced and qualified team of over 70 employees serving hundreds of regular customers on textile industry. In business since 1983, Alfa Kimya operates three warehouse in Istanbul, Bursa and Tekirdağ; additional two sales offices in Denizli and Kahramanmaraş with capabilities to provide customized formulations to the textile industry.
With this acquisition, Vinmar continues to implement its growth strategy in the distribution space. It also reinforces Vinmar’s commitment with the specialty chemicals distribution space taking an important step in further expanding the company’s product and market segment diversification after the successful acquisition of Veser Kimya in December of 2017.
Alfa Kimya’s market knowledge, extensive experience in specialty chemicals, and well-established long-term relationship with major chemical producers, and national sales network, provide a solid platform for Vinmar’s continued growth in this space.
